European extravaganza in Shepetov style
The regional festival "European Extravaganza" was held for the sixth time in Shepetivka on May 23 on the square in front of the Mykola Ostrovsky Museum. The celebration of Europe Days has become traditional for Shepetivka residents and guests of the city. Today, the class of the teenage and youth club at the Thiya Community Center was entirely dedicated to Lag Ba-Omer. Unfortunately, you can't light a bonfire in the Community Center, and there has never been a bow and arrows here. Memorial Hour at the Library
The traveling exhibition "Holocaust and Memory" was launched at the Khmelnytskyi Regional Library for Youth. This cultural and educational institution recently joined the social partnership agreement with the Hesed Besht Foundation and other participants in the social network. However, warm relations had existed for a long time, so the event dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust and timed to the Great Victory was held together.

Despite the tense situation, the Victory Day took place. People gathered in the courtyard of the Hesed Besht Children's Charity Foundation to honor war veterans and commemorate those who did not manage to see the victory banner over the Reichstag. On this day, front-line songs were sung, a field kitchen was open, and symbolic front-line "50 grams" were served. But there was something else special.
Our "Glorious Regiment"
For the Victory Day, the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" has prepared a solemn procession of remembrance with photographs of front-line soldiers. For this purpose, we asked the descendants of former war participants to provide photographs of their heroic ancestors. It is the children and grandchildren who will carry the photographs in the solemn procession during the requiem rally near the Eternal Flame memorial.
