Visits to bedridden clients

Passover is one of the most important Jewish holidays. Families gather for the traditional Seder, and community members meet together. But what if a person is in dire straits and unable to move around on their own? Is loneliness inevitable? Absolutely not, especially in our community. Employees of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” organized visits to people who cannot attend the Seder on their own on the eve of Passover.

Quest dedicated to the holiday of Passover

An extraordinary program was held for clients of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation “Hesed Besht” on the eve of the Passover holiday. It was intended for people who receive the innovative service “Intellectual Patronage”. Health Center on guard of the thyroid gland!

Every conscious person should take care of their health, especially since nowadays danger can be expected from everywhere. The problem of thyroid disease has always been relevant, and even more so after the Chernobyl disaster. In order to diagnose changes in your own "thyroid" in a timely manner, you don't need to be a doctor - it's enough to be attentive to yourself. This was discussed at a meeting of clients […]

Shabbaton at the Community Center +video

One of the favorite ways to spend free time on Shabbat is to gather together for fruitful communication and fun – a Shabbaton. At the Thiya Community Center, a corresponding meeting was held on the eve of the Sabbath meeting, when it was still possible to work with your hands.

Meeting with the “Right Setter”

Director of the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" Ihor Ratushny met with the coordinator of "Right Sector" in the Khmelnytskyi region Anatoly Medvedchuk. This meeting was another refutation of information from certain foreign media outlets that ultra-right nationalist organizations that promote anti-Semitism are rampant in Ukraine. The meeting took place at the "Thia" Community Center.

Disgusting vandalism

One of the areas of work of the Khmelnytsky Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" is the preservation of monuments of the Jewish cultural heritage of the region, mass graves and monuments. Under the care of the Khmelnytsky Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" is the only monument in Ukraine to the victims of the Proskuriv pogrom in 1919 on Leo Tolstoy Street. In the period from March 27 to 28, let's say at night, […]

Trust and help

The Sunday meeting of the youth club was dedicated to the topic of trust. The ranks of the youth movement are constantly updated with new participants. And although the children have known each other for a long time, most of them do not communicate every day. Therefore, barriers in communication should be skillfully destroyed, uniting our participants into one well-coordinated team.

Happy Purim Sameach!

The Khmelnytskyi Jewish community celebrated Purim! Traditional fun was held at the highest level, and the number of visitors to the holiday in the Khmelnytskyi City House of Culture pleased both the organizers from the Khmelnytskyi Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besh" and the visitors themselves! After all, lately, due to constant tension, it is not often possible to see smiles on people's faces. But Purim put everything in its place.
